  Het is officieel: WADA test op HGH (ANP) "Het internationale antidopingbureau (WADA) heeft een test ontwikkeld om het groeihormoon HGH op te sporen. De tests worden voor het eerst afgenomen tijdens de Olympische Spelen. Dat heeft de directeur van het WADA, Dick Pound, donderdag bekendgemaakt.
Volgens Pound worden honderden atleten tijdens het evenement aan de test onderworpen."

Because Kexing's first amino acid is Met, this indicates clearly that Kexing's growth hormone must have 192 amino acids with met being the extra amino acid.

It will require testing in Athens and then a second analysis in the UK which will show if HGH has been in the athletes system up to 84 days (wij geloven er niks van - red.) before the Olympics.
Georgakopoulos said if new tests are validated before the Games the laboratory will be ready to implement them. However, even if new tests are not ready for the Games athletes using them aren't in the clear. Samples of blood or urine can be conserved and tested after the Games, when new testing procedures are validated.

  'Sporters maandelijks gaan testen' (Guardian, August 5, 2004) "Professor David Cowan, head of the drug control centre at King's College London, where most of the British Olympic team have been tested ahead of the games, says the introduction of "undetectable" designer steroids as THG and the prospect of athletes abusing genetic techniques means the current system cannot be relied on to catch the cheats.
Prof Cowan said sports stars should be tested each month so that scientists can develop a profile of their normal levels of hormones and other body chemicals and watch for suspicious changes caused by drug use. "That's definitely the way to go - looking for the effects of a drug rather than the drug itself," Prof Cowan said.
