De foto's lijken echt. De verhoudingen van het lichaam kloppen precies. Het lijkt een smakeloze actie
om Schwarzenegger te beschadigen. TheSuperficial.com: 'A number of readers pointed out that the picture of Arnold
was actually taken right after his heart surgery in 2002 and before he started getting back into shape for the filming
of T3.'

Salbutamol maakt wielers twee procent sneller
"Inhalation of a supratherapeutic dose of 800 µg salbutamol improved endurance cycling performance by 1.9 ± 1.8 % in
non-asthmatic athletes, which indicates that this route of administration does not exclude the possibility of an
ergogenic effect of beta2-adrenergic agents in athletes."

Hier ligt Kava-Kava in gezondheidswinkels. Op de Fiji-eilanden ontwricht de kavadrank yaqona de samenleving,
blijkt uit het proefschrift van Sereima Naisilisili.
"Studies have shown that heavy yaqona drinking is linked to underweight, scaly skin, altered blood chemistry
and kidney problems. Reports on yaqona containing dietary supplements have associated kava with severe liver
injuries including hepatitis, cirrhosis and liver failure. Although the effects may not necessarily apply for
kava drinkers in our context here, it is a warning to drinkers on what components of the drink could do.
Regular consumption of yaqona can reduce commitment to food production roles as yaqona drinking is seen to be a
predominantly male activity suggesting that men's workloads and responsibilities may suffer."
"Although yaqona drinking has been shown to be a male dominated pastime, a significant number of women are
drinking yaqona. The inclusion of women in yaqona drinking sessions suggests that some of their time and energy
has been channeled away from their critical role in family food preparations and breastfeeding. This may be an
explanation as to why an increasing number of families are replacing traditional food crop with noodles and bread
as they are much faster and easier to prepare."
