NBI-31772 maakt IGF-1 actiever
Artritis-onderzoekers doen proeven met een stof die nog wel eens zou kunnen opduiken in het dopingmilieu. NBI-31772 verdringt het anabole IGF-1 van
zijn bindingseiwitten. (Arthritis Res Ther. 2004;6(5):R393-403.)
In proeven met kraakbeencellen verhoogt de nieuwe component daardoor de anabole werking van het hormoon. Waarom zou dat
niet met spiercellen werken?
De onderzoekers zijn trouwens nog niet tevreden over het nieuwe middel, blijkt uit

syringes in violation of state law.
Former professional football player Henry Lusk, 32, of Seaside is the offensive line coach for the varsity team.
Monterey police said syringes and four vials of legal human growth hormones were found in Lusk's car after it was
repossessed at the Monterey campus on Sept. 17 while he and the team were in Half Moon Bay for a football game.
Lt. Phil Penko said Monday the syringes were found by the Santa Clara County company that repossessed the car.
Lusk reportedly told an investigating officer that the materials were for his "personal use."
