CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa A north central Iowa woman has been placed on five years probation for her role in a selling steroids to body builders. Twenty-six-year-old Kendra Hanson of St. Ansgar admitted she picked up packages of illegal human growth hormones shipped from China. Hanson, who pleaded guilty to federal conspiracy charges in December, was sentenced yesterday in U-S District Court in Cedar Rapids. Several other people were charged in the case, including Hanson's husband, Nick. [ErGs] [ErGs] [ErGs] He pleaded guilty to conspiracy and money laundering charges. His sentencing is slated for April 19th. |
