huizen in.
Eén vrouw vond Tiger ineens naast haar in bed, terwijl hij haar betastte. 'Niet schrikken. Alles
is in orde', zei Tiger toen.

While Out On Appeal

East Moline, IL-An East Moline bodybuilder with
a history of harassing women and sneaking into
thier bedrooms is under arrest again, this time
accused of harassing an 18 year old woman he met
at a gym.
Derrick Baldwin, who goes by the nickname
''Tiger'', has been charged with one count of
telephone harassment in Rock Island County.
Baldwin is out on bond pending his appeal of a
conviction in Scott County, where he was found
guilty of breaking into a woman's home and
fondling her.
He was also convicted of criminal trespass in
Rock Island County after a young woman he had
met at a gym said she found him inside a house
waiting for her after a date.
Another woman says she woke up in the middle of
the night to find Baldwin with his hands down
her pants. She reported the incident to
Bettendorf police after hearing about other
complaints.
Another Moline woman says Baldwin terrorized her
one summer, with constant phone calls and
unwanted visits to her home. Karen DePaepe says
Baldwin made her feel like a prisoner in her own
home. ''I kept everything locked tight that
summer, I didn't even go anywhere I was afraid
he was gonna try to break in and do something.
It was freaking me out, all the phone calls, I
don't know how he got my phone number.''
Now, 18 year old Cathy Jones says she met
Baldwin last month at the Fitness First gym in
East Moline. They talked for two weeks, and when
she wanted to end the friendship, she says ''it
was scary''
Jones says Baldwin called her every day, and
threatened her, at one point telling her''I've
got a lot of connections and I will deal with
you, I'm gonna start all kinds of rumors about
you and f--- things up for you, and you're gonna
finally find out who I really am.''
Jones says Baldwin called and would say he knew
what she was doing, that ''he knew I had just
gotten out of the shower, and you know what, I
had.''
''I was watching my back the whole time, every
where I went'' said Jones, who had her mother
stay with her one night, and enlisted the help
of her parents to do searches of her apartment
when she arrived home alone.
Rock Island County States Attorney Jeff Terronez
says ''It appears to me that Mr. Baldwin just
doesn't get the message. People that deal with
him need to understand who they're dealing
with.''
Cathy Jones says she didn't before, but believes
''he's dangerous and a threat to women.''
Telephone harassment is only a misdeameanor, and
one Scott County probation official said the new
charge shouldn't impact Baldwin's freedom while
waiting for the results of his appeal.
