3 0 - 0 5 - 2 0 0 6 COP'S KINKY SECRET
He's accused of stealing WPC uniform for bodybuilder
Daily Record A MARRIED cop is being probed over claims he stole a uniform for sex sessions with a female bodybuilder. Agnes Campbell, 42, says she dressed as a WPC for Hugh McGoogan, 50. Now the detective could face charges.
BODYBUILDER Agnes Campbell told pals how she pulled on a police uniform for sex sessions with a married cop. The powerfully built 42-year-old claimed she dressed up in gear that lover Detective Constable Hugh McGoogan took from his station. Campbell told friends: "It was a bit tight but I did it for him. I felt like Juliet Bravo." Unemployed Campbell says she dumped the cop weeks after she found out he lived with his wife Denise in Cumnock, Ayrshire. She claims he then threatened her - so she called the police. And she shocked officers when she gave them the WPC's uniform she claims to have worn while having sex with McGoogan. Campbell told his colleagues she dressed up like Inspector Kate Langton, played by Anna Carteret, in 1980s TV show Juliet Bravo. The show was about two female inspectors who had trouble with their sexist bosses. Campbell claimed that McGoogan pinched the outfit from a police station. Police are also investigating claims McGoogan, 50, used a police computer to check out Campbell. The matter is being dealt with by Strathclyde Police complaints and discipline department and a preliminary report has been sent to the procurator fiscal. Now McGoogan faces charges of breach of the peace, theft and breaking the data protection act. A source said: "This has become a huge mess. Agnes just wanted McGoogan's bosses to give him a warning - but he could end up sacked." Campbell, of Galston, Ayrshire, claimed the pair met after McGoogan answered her advert on an adult website. She alleged he even met her family before she found out he was married. Campbell says she continued to see McGoogan for almost two months but ended their fling in April. She then called his wife and told her she and McGoogan were having an affair, which he denied. She claims he then threatened her - and that he accessed information held about her on a police computer. McGoogan works in Ayrshire Division's intelligence unit, which is based at Kilmarnock police station. He is currently off sick. Campbell was a regular at her local gym before the affair turned sour. Friends say she was a keen weightlifter and bodybuilder - but has lost interest in her hobby. One source said: "Agnes has met a few guys on the internet but she thought that this policeman was worth having a relationship with. Everything was nice at first. They would go on days out together and she got quite excited about him. She said she wore the uniform because she loved him and she wouldn't have done it otherwise. Agnes is a big woman and it was a tight-fit but she went ahead with it. She said she felt like Juliet Bravo." "She was really upset when she found out Hugh was married but continued to see him for a while. But she then got fed-up with the situation and told his wife that she'd been seeing Hugh. He got really angry and has always denied it. But Agnes has the proof and took it to police when she felt threatened. This whole situation has hit her really badly because it's now out of control. She isn't going to the gym nearly as much because she's so worried." Police bosses at Kilmarnock tried to keep a tight lid on their investigation into McGoogan - and hit the roof when officers started talking about the probe. One police source said: "Cops have been told not to mention this to anyone. "The ones that do know about it have been taken aside and asked how they found out." When our reporter contacted McGoogan, he said: "I'm saying absolutely nothing about this." And Campbell said: "I'd much rather not talk about it." A Strathclyde Police spokeswoman said: "We can confirm that an investigation is ongoing." |
