icSouthlondon A BODYBUILDER has been spared jail for stealing £40,000 of steroids after telling a court he was addicted to working out. Noel Troy-Mullrainey, 41, used up to 12 fake identities to register with GPs across South London and trick them into prescribing the powerful drugs for free. He was injecting up to 10 times the normal amount, and selling the rest. Middlesex Guildhall Crown Court heard that the drugs were handed out "like confetti" from practices in Tooting, Stockwell and Battersea before medical staff became suspicious. Troy-Mullrainey, of Barrow Road, Streatham, who has stopped taking the drugs, admitted six counts of obtaining property by deception and was given a two-year community rehabilitation order. |
