The French Police and Spanish Civil Guard have arrested 20 people, among them livestock farmers and middlemen. Apparently, agents searched several farms and found anabolic steroids there; farmers presumably fed livestock on chemical products for a quicker fattening. The first evidence was met in animals for human consumption at routine veterinarian tests. After nine months of investigation, 20 suspects have been arrested.
